Heal & TRANSFORM with creativity & mind-body practices.

Welcome, I’m Marga Fripp — trauma-informed expressive arts therapist, certified Qigong teacher, artist, and healing arts soul guide in Western North Carolina.

For over 30 years, I’ve empowered women, families, and trauma survivors to reclaim their voice, dignity, and purpose.

Through expressive arts therapy, Qigong, and soul-nourishing creative retreats and rituals, I support individuals navigating grief, trauma, depression, and PTSD—helping them reconnect with their inner wisdom, restore balance, and reimagine a life rooted in meaning and purpose.

My path is grounded in compassion, creativity, and the belief that we can transform pain into purpose. I share part of that story in my TEDx Talk on Finding Purpose, shaped by decades of work in women’s empowerment and healing.

It’s an honor to walk beside you. Whether you’re seeking relief, healing, or creative renewal—I invite you to join me and step into the life that’s ready to unfold from within.

Marga Fripp Studio supports The Pollinators Foundation by donating artwork and Qigong services to empower individuals in need of emotional healing and mental wellbeing. Together, we create a more compassionate world that supports the wellbeing and healing of all.

What people are saying.

  • “Your beautiful, sacred movement program has significantly uplifted my wellbeing and awakened my energy and my brain cells. Your luminous spirit and energy add premium wattage and love.”

    Cheryl

  • "How does one attune sensibilities that allow for deeper ways of knowing?  Marga embodies these tender sensibilities and shares her resources and goodwill as a sincere, exquisite guide.  She emanates a natural, genuine beauty of strength and softness, a maestro of attentive articulation and artistry."

    k2, Expressive Arts Expert

  • “Marga exudes calm and joy during her QiGong practice, making her leadership authentic and honest. She establishes a personal connection with each person in the group. I so looked forward to practicing with her, calming my body and mind.”

    Karen L.

  • “I am a former RN and now a professor and I hate exercise. But I love Marga’s classes because it is also about something we do not get in other programs: Tension relief! It is about loving ourselves and caring for ourselves and doing the simple things that we can do every day to enable good feelings, heightened happiness and all the while getting stronger, and well.”

    Meg

  • “My elbow was quite sore coming to class after slipping on ice and falling on my arm. The class was gentle enough, and I could easily adapt to practicing with one arm. It was interesting to tune in and notice my good arm activating and moving the flow of Qi to both arms like a big sister caring for a little sister. Finally, the ache and soreness of my elbow and arm became nearly non-existent.”
