I’ve felt such joy creating this artwork. It was inspired by the plum tree in our backyard in Switzerland during spring. Never before, I’ve seen so many bees, butterflies, and birds in one tree, as if this tree was a mother gathering its creatures to feast on the gift of life. I thought of this tree as the Sacred Mother Tree.

The original artwork is mixed-media on wood panel finished with a glossy varnish. The artwork measures 4”x4” and is framed in a 5.5”x5.5” black and gold frame.
